With this in mind, we offer a hand in caring for you and your family during some of the most significant times of your life. Whether you are in a crisis or preparing for a joyous occasion, our Pastoral Care Team of staff and trained volunteers is here to offer encouragement and assistance to you. Hospital Ministry
When you or someone dear to you needs to be hospitalized, you do not have to stand alone. Our Pastoral Care Team offers encouragement, love, and compassion in support of members of Word of Life and their loved ones who are sick or are undergoing surgery.
Funerals and Memorials
In the event of a death, we are here to minister to you and your family. Our Pastoral Care Team can help you prepare for a funeral/ memorial service as well as provide support and encouragement during this time.
Baby Dedications
We delight in sharing with mother and father as they dedicate their baby back to the Lord. This precious event provides an opportunity for you and extended family to garner the support of your Word of Life family as you pray for wisdom and guidance in modeling a godly lifestyle and in raising your children to know and love God. Parents, pre-registration is required. Call the church office at 688-4411.
Weddings
We want your wedding at Word of Life to be special, worshipful, and Christ honoring, and our desire is to accommodate you and your family as best as possible during this joyous occasion. Because of how seriously we consider the marriage covenant and our responsibility in supporting married couples in their walk with the Lord, Word of Life Center is available for weddings to members of our congregation only, and pre-marital counseling is required of all couples. During the year, we typically have numerous weddings, so couples should contact us as soon as possible in order to schedule counseling appointments and a wedding date. Note that weddings are not scheduled on Saturday afternoons or evenings, during church-wide events, or on holiday weekends.
Water Baptism
Water baptism is a wonderful occasion for new believers to demonstrate their faith and to identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We take great pleasure in celebrating with you in your decision to be baptized, and we provide several opportunities throughout the year for water baptism. If you desire to be baptized, please contact us for information on the next baptism service.
